Delivering a high availability wireless service inside buildings is a critical KPI for all service providers. Like any network component, DAS networks should be monitored on a real time basis to assess any performance issues. Monitoring passive DAS components such as coaxial cable and antennas is problematic because these components don’t have an inherent monitoring capability. In such scenarios, most operators get to discover the problem only via a field report or worst from an upset subscriber.

DASWatch is DAS monitoring system engineers to limit downtime, expedite field repairs and ultimately increase revenues generated from DAS sites; regardless if its owned by operators, building owners or neutral hosts. Such a system pays for itself quickly by eliminating the need for walk tests and simplifying analysis to determine DAS issues before significantly loosing revenues.
Our system comprises of 3 main elements; distributed probes, gateways and the server. Every probe is easily mounted in close proximity to each DAS antenna and continuously measures its RF transmission levels. The gateway in return collects the alarms from each group of probes and further relays it to the server. The server then builds up all the data for operation and maintenance purposes providing operators with data insights. The probe has no band limitations and can easily be installed at new or existing sites.
We are always looking forward to carry out a POC trial at your premises!
